OUR HUNTER VALLEY HISTORY

Our family have been involved with the Earthmoving and Mining Industries in the Hunter Valley for more than 40 years. We know our way around and have many contacts and friends in our industry and look forward to finding you a well reported and properly valued piece of equipment.

In the late 70’s Jon was involved with Morgan Equipment based at Mount Thorley. He was involved in sales and support of the Euclid (later Wabco) rear dump truck range, Demag Shovels and Backhoes, Le Tourneau Electric Wheel Loaders and Rubber Tyred Dozers, Clark Loaders and RT Dozers and other plant to the burgeoning Mining Industry. After a brief stint at ANI Komatsu introducing the first 120 and 190 tonne Mechanical Drive as well as the first 375A dozers, Jon moved into Used Equipment sales as well as Auctioning Construction and Mining Equipment.

Soon after that, the family became involved with the Blast Hole Drilling Industry, firstly in the Hunter and later to the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. Jon was the Operations Manager and all Jon’s sons (Nick, Rich and Ed) became involved in varying capacities as Trades Assistants, working with the drill fitters servicing and repairing the fleet of eventually, 8 drill rigs.  Nick and Rich later became drillers, Trainer Assessors and are still involved today, with Thiess Mount Arthur North and WesTrac , the Caterpillar Dealer.

When we first inspect your equipment, we try to put together a complete history of each item, photograph all angles, componentry, as well as areas that may need attention. This enables potential buyers an accurate assessment to ease the decision-making process.  We always encourage buyers to personally inspect machines as only they can properly assess to their standards
